Changed the site theme, Chapter five progress report

Yes, I changed the theme. I like this one the best, and with the new header image it works the best.

So far this is what I’ve got done for Chapter Five:

Chapter Five
United States of America –2001; One Week Later, Afternoon

Kaitlin had finished packing her bags two nights ago, and now she sat at the table with her mother and Takamitsu Griever. She knew that the plans that Griever made, plans that she helped to make, would be acceptable to her mother.
“We’ve made our plans Lynne-san,” Griever started. “Kaitlin and I have taken our time to work out a plan that will help us to avoid the Kyuushi and get to Japan in little time.”
“All right,” Lynne said calmly, “Let me hear it.”
Griever cast a look at Kaitlin and she nodded. “Griever said that the Kyuushi agents here in California would be watching and waiting for us to leave. We think that if we first travel north to Washington and take a flight out of Seattle, instead of just leaving from San Francisco, that we will be able to avoid the Kyuushi.”
“If anything at all it will take a bit longer, but this also gives me time to start training Kaitlin in self-defense,” Griever added. “The two of us will both need to be able to fight if anything unexpected happens.”
Lynne nodded; she understood their predicament. “No matter what, on this journey I want you both to keep safe. As many have said before ‘expect the unexpected’.”
Griever and Kaitlin both nodded in agreement, and together answered, “We will.”
“In that case, Kaitlin you’ll go to school tomorrow. Griever you wouldn’t mind taking her in for me?” Lynne asked.
“Not at all Lynne-san. I would be honored.”
“Turn in your paperwork Kait, and you’ll be done. You’ll be able to return home right afterwards. Is there anything you need that I can pick up while I’m out tomorrow?”
Griever nodded, “Other than the tickets and getting Kaitlin’s passport picture updated I’d like you to see if you can pick up an outfit for Kait, something that she’ll have free movement in.”
“No need for that,” Kaitlin piped in. “I have an old bodysuit that I can use.” She smiled and her mother shook her head.
“You will not be wearing that,” Lynne frowned, “It is a complete and utter mess. I’ll get you something new. Maybe a few of them.”
“All right mom.” Kaitlin decided that agreeing on new clothing might be a better idea than fighting over her old stuff. She hoped her mom would not be too conservative though. She was going to need to move fast and often in training.
“I know that this is going to be a long and trying, as well as tiring, journey for the both of you,” Lynne started, “You should both get to bed right after dinner is over.”
“I had already planned on that mom,” Kaitlin responded. She looked over at Griever and he nodded.
“I do believe that is a good idea,” Griever agreed.
Lynne stood up to get their dinner out of the oven. For Kaitlin and Griever’s last night in California, she decided that they should have a true and proper dinner. She had made a roast with the works. Griever and Kaitlin both looked at it hungrily.
Kaitlin stood up to help her mother set the table. Lynne had promptly told her to sit back down in her own seat. “I’m doing this for both of you. You have a long trip coming up and I want to make sure you’re both ready.”
“Lynne-san you didn’t have to go through all this trouble,” Griever told her, but as he saw the look in her eyes, he knew he was outnumbered. He looked at Kaitlin and watched as she smiled and shook her head. They both watched as Lynne set out the plates and served their meal.
Lynne bowed her head as Kaitlin and Griever did the same, “Lord bless this food that we are about to partake, and guard those who have a journey to make. Thank you Lord for having us at this table for one more meal, and let us rejoin shortly after. Amen.”
Kaitlin and Griever, in the same breath also said, “Amen.”
As a group, they all started in on their meal, taking their time eating, and enjoying the time that was spent together. As dinner neared its end, Kaitlin stood up and gave her mother a fierce hug from behind. When Griever left the table, he bowed low in front of Lynne. After they had both retreated to bed Lynne allowed herself to cry. As she took care of the dishes, her tears never ceased.

I’ve got a rough transition (rough for me, I can’t get the wording right) after this, plus some other fun ideas with the story at this time.

Hopefully I’ll get it up soon.

Hair; Bengal Auburn
Eyes; Dichromatic (Right Eye: Green/Left Eye: Blue)
Other Features; Has demonic tiger form when angered, tufts on her ears.
Blood Type; B
Birthdate/Zodiac; July 30/Leo

Name Meaning: Kaitlin
Although the name Kaitlin creates the urge to be creative and original, we emphasize that it limits your versatility and scope, tuning you to technical details. This name, when combined with the last name, can frustrate happiness,
contentment, and success, as well as cause health weaknesses and accidents to the head, and the elimination system.
Your first name of Kaitlin has made you a hard worker with a meticulous sense of detail. You have a great deal of patience and independence, and you can be relied upon to complete your undertakings. You could be inventive along scientific or practical lines. You are stable, trustworthy, homeloving, and logical in practical matters, but rather unresponsive to suggestions from others. You resist change.

Blood Type Analysis
B-gata or blood type B personalities are the cheerful, adventurous egocentrics.
People with Type B Blood are curious about and interested in everything. That’s may be good, but they also tend to have too many interests and hobbies, and they tend to get all excited about something suddenly and then later drop it again just as quickly. But
they do manage to know which of their many interests or loved ones are the ones that are really important, the ones they should hold on to.
B Types tend to excel in things rather than just be average. But they tend to be so involved in their own world or become
so carried away with something that they neglect other things. They have the image of being bright and cheerful, full of energy and enthusiasm, but some people think that they are really quite different on the inside. And it can also be said about them that they don’t really want to have much real contact with others.

Biography
Kaitlin Jessica Anderson attends a private school (McHenry Private School) which she commutes to from home every day. Kaitlin is not allowed to participate in any of the school’s extracirricular activities. Decended from a White O-Toraoni (Royal Tiger Demon) named Toraoito Griever, Kaitlin is one of approximately six toraoni left in the world.
In her spare time, Kaitlin writes music and lyrics for herself to perform in local clubs. Kaitlin is also known as ‘Kait‘ and as ‘The Tiger Girl‘ because of her ancestry. Kaitlin is a fan of Modern Rock/Alternative as well as Classic Rock from the ’70s and ’80s. She plays acoustic guitar, 12-string guitar, bass guitar, and an old fashioned lyre.
Kaitlin has flashbacks to when she was three years old when her father Toraoito Griever was murdered. She has an acute phobia with needles, and abhors shots and bloodwork.
Kaitlin is introduced in the first chapter of Tiger Girl.

Takamitsu Griever

3D Render - Takamitsu Griever
Age; 19
Gender; Male
Race/Nationality; Japanese Human
Hair; Black
Eyes; Brown
Other Features; Clan ID tattoo on left bicep, small scar on chin, dragon tattoo on back
Blood Type; A
Birthdate/Zodaic; December 23/Capricorn

Name Meaning: Griever
Though the name Griever creates the urge to be creative and original, we stress through a scattered and emotional nature, you suffer frustration. This name, when combined with the last name, can frustrate happiness, contentment, and success, as well as cause health weaknesses in the liver, bloodstream, and in tension or accidents to the head.
Griever as a first name gives you a very independent nature, yet you are friendly, approachable, and generous. You can be a spontaneous, expressive, and talkative person. Generally you are good-natured, though at times you can be rather blunt and sarcastic. This name incorporates creative, artistic, and musical abilities, and there would be an element of originality in all that you do. You like to do things on the spur of the moment without planning or prior arrangements. Your spirits are buoyed up greatly by encouragement and appreciation.

Blood Type Analysis
A-gata or blood type A personalities are the cautious, loyal introverts.
Speaking broadly, it is said that people with Type A Blood are calm, composed, and very level-headed and serious. They have a firm character, and are reliable and trustworthy (and hardheaded). They think things over and make plans deliberately, and they plug away at things steadily and assiduously. They try to make themselves more like their own ideal of what they should be.
A Types may look aloof or distant to others. They try to suppress their own emotions, and because they have continual practice in doing this, this makes them appear strong. But, actually, they have a fragile, nervous side, as well. They tend to be hard on people who are not of the same type, and so they consequently tend to be surrounded with people of the same temperament.

Biography
Takamitsu Griever was born as Hitoyami Griever the youngest son of Hitoyami (Raikin) Kiyoto, leader of the Hitoyami Ichimon (Dark Man Clan), in Japan. At sixteen he became an accomplished kenkyaku (Swordsman), and was given the title Takamitsu (His father’s title is Raikin). Griever was named for Toraoito Griever, father of Kaitlin Jessica Anderson, who was a close friend of his father Hitoyami Kiyito. Homeschooled, and trained side by side his cousin Kibo Fayt, a younger version of his aunt Kibo Aoi.
Griever left Nihon (Japan) to bring Kaitlin Anderson back to his home country, where she will be trained to sit in on Hitoyami Ichimon meetings as an O-Toraoni (Royal Tiger Demon). His mission is twofold as he must protect her from the Kyuushi Ichimon (Nine Death Clan) who will stop at nothing to kill her.
In his spare time Griever draws portraits and renderings of the people he meets. His also tends to take notes on their personalities and actions on these drawing pages.
Takamitsu Griever is introduced in chapter two of Tiger Girl.
